On May 22, the World Health Organization will meet for the World Health Assembly. All countries will be invited except Taiwan, at China’s behest. Countries will vote on a pandemic treaty that will give the WHO power over the pandemic responses of sovereign nations.

The problem with WHO: Its current leader was backed by China’s government through a corrupt election process. It shielded China from investigation and criticism during the early days of the pandemic and has repeatedly issued bad pandemic guidelines (similarly to the CDC.) Read more here.

United States proposes more power to the WHO: Earlier in the year, the United States proposed changes to the WHO Emergency Response regulations. The changes incentivize the countries to comply with the WHO’s request and give the WHO more power.

Power from the pandemic treaty could look like

  1. The WHO declaring health emergencies at will
  2. The WHO requiring governments and countries to lockdown
  3. The WHO requiring vaccine mandates and other vaccine protocols
  4. The WHO (and China behind it) punishing sovereign countries through requirements
