Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced To 20 Years For Sex Trafficking

The partner of Jeffrey Epstein was charged with sex trafficking, conspiracy, and transportation of a minor for illegal sexual activity.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the partner of Jeffrey Epstein, was charged with sex trafficking, conspiracy, and transportation of a minor for illegal sexual activity. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

She’s been at it for over twenty years. The disturbing partnership between Maxwell and Epstein began in the early 1990s. Maxwell helped manage Epstein’s properties, facilitated social relationships, and trafficked children as young as 11 for sexual exploitation.

A quick recap on Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein, an infamous investor, was arrested on July 6, 2019, after evidence broke out that he and Maxwell transported teenage girls to his private island for a sex trafficking scheme.

Epstein’s and Maxell’s client list remains secret. Epstein and Maxwell worked out of a “little black book” for this scheme. Some people involved were Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Bill Gates, and more. The “little black book” contained 1,971 names, all of which were people that visited Epstein’s island and possibly participated in the sex trafficking. The client list wasn’t mentioned by mainstream news outlets, which prompted Elon Musk to tweet a meme about it.

Maxwell is still on suicide watch. In August of 2019, Epstein was found dead in jail. It was ruled that he hanged himself with a bedsheet, though many speculate that he was murdered, despite little evidence. Out of concern that the same could happen to Maxwell, she was held on suicide watch before her sentencing.
