News of retirement: Liberal Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced that he was retiring. Many speculate that Breyer faced pressure to retire from his peers in the Democratic Party.

Biden’s promise from 2020: In his 2020 run, Biden promised to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court. This is the same nomination process that he used for Vice President. Kamala Harris was chosen because she was a black woman.

Race in, meritocracy out: With woke ideology sweeping across America’s institutions, gone are the days when candidates were chosen on merit. Today, they are determined by race and other characteristics that constitute “marginalized.”

The result? Similar to the effects of affirmative action, White Americans and other successful minorities will face discrimination. Unironically, the Supreme Court will be hearing a case about affirmative action later this year.
