States joining Florida’s lead: Ohio, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama are all making significant strides in passing versions of Florida’s H.B. 1557 bill. Though different, the bills prohibit teachers from teaching LGBTQ+ ideology to young children.

Ohio’s bill tackles race, too: Besides prohibiting classroom discussion about sexual orientation, Ohio is also trying to remove divisive progressive concepts like racial guilt and critical race theory from the classroom.
