While promising to bring a vaccine to citizens before 2021, Trump passed dramatic measures to mitigate COVID-19 spread.
Dr. Fauci reinforced this claim in April saying that Trump listened to his advice about mitigation efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 .
Media & Democrats Say 'Impossible'
The MSM and Democrats claimed that a vaccine by the end of the year was highly unlikely. Most criticism claimed that Trump was using the vaccine as a political tool for reelection.
