Violence Emerges After SCOTUS Overturns Roe v. Wade

In its Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision last week, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that declared abortion a constitutional right.

Progressives view the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade as a tyrannical move. In reality, the court only nullified a prior unconstitutional ruling and gave the abortion debate back to the states. People can now vote on it through representative government. The court’s decision objectively bolstered democracy.

Progressives do not believe that the abortion debate should be left up to a vote where conservatives have a say. That’s why Roe. v Wade was so important to many on the Left. Now, many view riots and violence as the only way to respond.

There are calls to assassinate conservative Supreme Court justices. One activist even attempted to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh earlier this month. Addresses of the justices are distributed with people encouraging protests and riots.

Burning churches and pro-life organizations: In leftist online circles, there have been calls to burn all Churches down—all except Black churches. Numerous pro-life organizations and pregnancy centers were vandalized and burned leading up to the court's decision to overturn Roe. Just yesterday, a Christian pregnancy center in Colorado was vandalized and burned.
